Your number sets the baseline. Quoted sets the market price from the full contractor curve. I understand the math: Quoted marks up the curve average by 25% to get the homeowner's locked price. Quoted's 12% project acceptance fee comes out of that locked price, not out of my number. My payment works out to my cost plus a 10% buffer on every job I accept. No monthly fees, no subscriptions, no other charges.
