Welcome to Quoted. By using our service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. What Quoted is

Quoted (operated by Qhomes LLC, an Iowa limited liability company) is an online platform that connects homeowners with verified home improvement contractors. We help establish fair market prices, verify contractor credentials, and facilitate the introduction between homeowners and contractors.

Quoted is not a contractor. We do not perform work on your home. We do not employ contractors. We make introductions and facilitate transparent pricing. Once you select a contractor and they accept, your relationship for the actual work is directly with that contractor.

2. Who can use Quoted

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must own or be legally authorized to make decisions about the property being quoted.
• You must provide accurate information.
• Contractors must be properly licensed and insured in Iowa.

3. Quotes and pricing

Quoted prices are based on local Iowa contractor pricing data and reflect a fair market price for the work described. The locked price you see is binding on Quoted contractors who accept your project, subject to the following:

• The price assumes accurate information from you (size, scope, condition of existing materials).
• If a contractor's on-site measure reveals materially different conditions, the contractor may request a revised quote before starting work. You're not obligated to accept the revision.
• The 30-day price guarantee runs from the date you lock your quote.

4. Project acceptance fee

Contractors who accept a Quoted project pay a project acceptance fee equal to 12% of the locked homeowner price. This fee is paid by the contractor, not the homeowner. The homeowner pays only the locked price for the work.

5. Your information and privacy

Your personal contact information (name, phone, address) is not shared with any contractor until you affirmatively select them and they accept your project. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Contractor relationship

Once you select a contractor and they accept:

• Your contact information is released to that contractor.
• The contractor is responsible for scheduling, performing, and warrantying the work.
• Quoted is not a party to your contract with the contractor.
• Quoted does not guarantee contractor performance, but we verify license and insurance before listing.

7. Disputes with contractors

Disputes about workmanship, scheduling, or contract terms are between you and the contractor. We encourage you to:

1. Try to resolve directly with the contractor first.
2. Submit honest reviews on Quoted (positive or negative) so future homeowners can make informed choices.
3. Use Iowa Contractor Licensing Board complaint processes if needed.

Quoted may, at its discretion, remove contractors who repeatedly fail to honor accepted projects, accumulate poor reviews, or violate platform policies.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit fake quotes, fraudulent information, or impersonate others.
• Use Quoted to harass contractors or other users.
• Attempt to circumvent the platform fees by transacting directly outside Quoted for a project introduced through Quoted.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service.

9. Account termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for terms violations, abuse, or fraud.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Quoted is provided "as is." We don't guarantee specific outcomes, project completion, or contractor performance. To the maximum extent permitted by Iowa law, Quoted's total liability for any claim is limited to the project acceptance fee paid (if any) on the specific project at issue, or $500, whichever is greater.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa. Disputes will be resolved in courts located in Polk County, Iowa.
