Refund Policy

You owe nothing to Quoted

Building a quote, locking a price, and choosing a contractor are all free. Your payment for the work goes directly to the contractor, not to Quoted. Because you pay Quoted nothing, there is nothing for us to refund.

If the contractor doesn't perform

If your selected contractor fails to contact you within 48 hours, doesn't show for measure, or refuses to honor the locked price for reasons unrelated to on-site reality, contact us at support@quotedhomes.com. We'll work to reassign your project to another verified contractor at the same locked price, at no cost to you. This is a service guarantee — not a refund — because no money changed hands between you and Quoted.

If the work is bad

Your contract is directly with the contractor. Workmanship issues go through the contractor's warranty and the Iowa Contractor Licensing Board complaint processes. Quoted does not refund or warranty work performed by independent contractors. Please leave honest reviews so future homeowners benefit.

The 5% project acceptance fee is non-refundable

Quoted's role is to deliver verified, pre-priced, ready-to-buy homeowner projects. Once you accept a project, the fee is owed and is not refundable for any reason — including but not limited to:

• Project scope differing from the homeowner's description on arrival
• Homeowner canceling at any point after your acceptance
• Homeowner choosing not to proceed after the measure visit
• Inability to schedule or reach a real homeowner (a fake or genuinely unreachable homeowner is the one exception — see below)
• Any other circumstance after acceptance

Review project details carefully before accepting. Acceptance is a commitment.

The one exception: a fake or unreachable homeowner

If a homeowner turns out to be fake or genuinely unreachable, tell us within 5 business days. We verify on our end, and if it checks out, we waive the fee on your next project — on us. It isn’t a refund of the original fee; it’s a goodwill remedy for a project that was never real, and we cap it and watch for patterns so no one games it.

Why we don't issue credits or partial refunds

The fee pays for access to a verified homeowner project — not for guaranteed conversion or completed work. This is the same model used by every modern project-matching service. It keeps the marketplace simple, fair, and free of disputes over partial outcomes. If a project doesn't pan out, the next one is on its way.
